A practical FAQ guide to the Love to Dream Newborn Essentials Bundle: what the swaddle, bib, wash cloth, burp cloth and hooded towel set includes, and when each item earns its place.
Quick answer
The Love to Dream Newborn Essentials Bundle is a five-piece starter set built around the Swaddle Up 1.0 TOG, with everyday feeding and bath basics alongside it. Use the swaddle from the first nights, the burp cloth and bib as feeding starts, and the wash cloth and hooded towel at bath time.
Why this bundle works as a single newborn starter set
Most newborn checklists split into two jobs: sleep and cleanup. This bundle covers both without asking you to research five separate products. The Swaddle Up handles the sleep layer, while the burp cloth, bib, wash cloth and hooded towel cover the mess that comes with feeding and bathing.
The trade-off is that it is a fixed set. If you already own plenty of wash cloths or towels, you are paying for duplicates. If you are starting from zero, the bundle price of USD 70.82 against a catalog comparison price of USD 99.75 makes the all-in-one approach easier to justify.
Where the bundle stops and you still need to shop
This is not a complete nursery setup. It does not include a crib, mattress, sheets, diapers, wipes, bottles or a baby monitor, and the product facts do not list those items. Treat it as a sleep-and-care starter kit, not a registry replacement.
Size is the one option to check before ordering. The bundle lists a Size option, so confirm the Swaddle Up size matches your baby's weight range rather than guessing from the product name alone.
Newborn Essentials Bundle FAQ
- What is actually inside the newborn essentials bundle?
- Five items: a Swaddle Up 1.0 TOG in Cotton Oatmeal, a 2-pack of burp cloths, a 3-pack of wash cloths, a 2-pack of bibs and a hooded towel. The bundle is listed in the Newborn Essentials Bundle category and is sized via a single Size option. Count the pieces against what you already own before ordering.
- When should I start using the Swaddle Up?
- From the first nights home if your baby is within the size range for the option you choose. The ARMS UP design lets the baby self-soothe, and the twin zipper means you can change a diaper without fully unswaddling. Follow the safe-sleep guidance that comes with the product and stop swaddling once your baby shows signs of rolling. Check the size option before birth rather than after.
- Do I need the bib and burp cloth right away?
- Yes, but for different jobs. Burp cloths go over your shoulder and on your lap during burping and feeds. Bibs are more useful once feeding becomes messier, whether that is bottle drips or the start of solids. Having both means you are not improvising with a kitchen towel at 3 a.m. Keep one burp cloth in the diaper bag and one at the feeding spot.
- When do the wash cloths and hooded towel come into play?
- From the first bath at home. The 3-pack of wash cloths covers face, body and a spare, while the hooded towel keeps the baby covered after the bath. Wash them before first use and keep a dry spare towel within arm's reach. Set up the bath station before the first bath, not during it.
- Is this bundle a good baby shower gift?
- It works well for a new or expecting parent because it combines a sleep product with practical cleanup items in one box. It is less useful if the parents already have a swaddle they like or a stocked linen closet. Check the Size option against the baby's expected weight before gifting. Ask about the baby's size range before choosing the option.
